Helvetic Airways is recruiting experienced Commanders to fly our modern Embraer E‑Jet fleet across short- and medium-haul routes from our home base at Zurich Airport. Step into the left seat with a financed type rating, smart rostering, and clear pathways into training or management roles.

✈️ The Opportunity

  • Operate as Commander (Captain) on Embraer E190/E195 (E1 & E2) aircraft.
  • Home base: Zurich Airport (ZRH), serving short- and medium-haul scheduled and charter operations.
  • Financed type rating provided on the Embraer E‑Jet family.
  • Typical day: ~1.5 hours per sector, 2–4 sectors per day.
  • Rolling planning with OFF‑wish options and part‑time models (40% / 60% / 80%).
  • Career growth into instructor and/or management positions.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Act as Commander on E190/E195 operations, ensuring the highest standards of flight safety and operational discipline.
  • Demonstrate clear leadership, effective CRM, and dependable communication across the flight operation.
  • Uphold all operational procedures and standards, including PANS OPS and company SOPs.
  • Champion a professional, collaborative cockpit culture and on-time performance.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

  • Flight Experience: Minimum 1,000 hours PIC on multi‑pilot aeroplanes (MPA).
  • Licence: EASA ATPL with valid IR.
  • Medical: Class 1.
  • Language: English ICAO Level 4+; German an advantage.
  • Travel Documents: Valid passport.
  • Eligibility: Eligible for operations within Switzerland and EU‑25/EFTA or without EU/EFTA restrictions.
