Step into a purpose-built cadet pathway on the Embraer E170/E190—designed for pilots ready to convert to First Officer on a modern, airline-standard flight deck. Non-type rated (NTR) applicants are welcome; we’ll provide your full E‑Jet training.
🧰 Minimum Requirements & Eligibility
- License: Valid CPL issued by the FAA
- Medical: FAA First Class (Class 1); privileges may be lapsed at time of application
- Type Rating: Not required – training on E‑Jet family provided
- Check ride history: No more than one check ride failure
- Employment: Permanent
- Sponsorship: Visa sponsorship not provided
🧭 Flight Time Pathways to First Officer
This cadet program supports both R‑ATP and ATP pathways. Please ensure you meet the timing and hour thresholds below for a smooth conversion to First Officer:
- Cadets with R‑ATP (1,000 or 1,250 hours): Instrument Rating; no more than 700 hours remaining or less than 6 months until date of conversion to First Officer.
- Cadets with ATP (1,500 hours): Commercial Certificate; no more than 1,000 hours remaining or less than 6 months until date of conversion to First Officer.
Note: “Conversion to First Officer” refers to your projected move into the right seat per program timelines and regulatory minimums.
