QantasLink is inviting applications from skilled pilots to join our Adelaide base as a Direct Entry First Officer. Fly across Australia on various fleet types, build your career with industry-leading training, and operate in a professional, safety-first environment.
✈️ The Opportunity
As a Direct Entry First Officer, you will operate multi-engine aircraft on regional routes, delivering safe, reliable and customer-focused operations. You’ll receive airline-provided type rating training and ongoing checking to support your progression on the QantasLink fleet.
🧭 Minimum Flight Experience
- Minimum 500 hours total flight time.
- Preference for recency: at least 50 hours in the last 12 months.

🧰 Licences, Ratings & Medical
- Frozen ATPL (fATPL) or ATPL.
- Current IR with Multi-Engine Aeroplane (IR-MEA).
- Endorsements for Instrument Approach 2D and 3D on Australian IR-MEA.
- Multi-Engine Aeroplane endorsement.
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 6.

🛡️ Clearances & Eligibility
- Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol testing.
- Ability to pass the Qantas pre-employment medical.
- Eligibility to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- Current passport with unrestricted access to all Qantas ports of call.
- Right to work in Australia or New Zealand without restriction or sponsorship.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
