Exercise safe, compliant, and efficient command of flights in accordance with company SOPs and aviation regulations.
Demonstrate calm, timely decision-making in dynamic environments and weather conditions.
Foster a positive, communicative cockpit culture and effective collaboration with cabin crew and operations.
Champion professionalism, risk management, and continuous improvement on every sector.
Represent Loganair’s values with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.

🧰 What you’ll bring

Strong technical flying skills and sound operational judgement.
Clear, confident communication and a professional approach to leadership and crew collaboration.
In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, safety practices, and flight operations.
Proven teamwork, situational awareness, and the ability to perform under pressure.

🌟 Minimum requirements

Licence: Current UK CAA ATPL
Medical: Class 1
Language: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
Flight time: Currently or recently operated in command on a multi-crew aircraft (MTOW >10t or 19+ pax)
Type rating: Not required (Training provided)
Work authorisation: Right to live and work in the UK
Visa sponsorship: Not provided

While not essential, a valid type rating on any of the following is advantageous:

🎓 Training and onboarding

Non-type-rated Captains are welcome. We provide the required type rating and a thorough induction to Loganair’s procedures, safety culture, and operational standards to set you up for success from day one.
