  • Role: Captain (Pilot‑in‑Command) on the CRJ 550 operating Part 121 regional routes for United Express
  • Program: Direct‑Entry Captain for qualified pilots transferring from other regionals
  • Team: Join a diverse pilot group with military, high‑time, and CFI backgrounds

🧭 Base locations

  • St. Louis, MO (STL)
  • Chicago O’Hare, IL (ORD)
  • Newark, NJ (EWR)
  • Washington Dulles, VA (IAD)
  • Houston, TX (IAH)

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Command the CRJ 550 as PIC, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and airmanship
  • Lead and mentor the flight crew, fostering effective CRM and a positive, safety‑first culture
  • Deliver reliable, on‑time regional operations for United Express customers
  • Exercise sound judgment in all phases of flight, from preflight planning through arrival

📋 Minimum qualifications

  • Age: Minimum 23 years
  • Certificate: FAA Multi‑Engine Airline Transport Pilot’s Certificate (ATP‑Unrestricted or ATP‑Restricted accepted)
  • Total time: 1,750 hours (100% fixed‑wing)
  • Multi‑engine: 1,000 hours
  • Turbine: 1,000 hours
  • Air carrier experience: 1,000 hours

Note: Applicants must meet all experience thresholds to qualify for Direct‑Entry Captain placement.
