Join Toki Air as a Captain on the ATR 42 in Niigata. This role offers a clear pathway from an initial contract to permanent employment upon successful completion of company training and checks. Lead safe, efficient regional operations while mentoring crews and upholding the highest standards of a JCAB-regulated airline.
🧭 The role
As Captain on the ATR 42, you will ensure safe, compliant, and on-time operations across scheduled services, provide operational leadership to the flight deck and cabin, and maintain strict adherence to JCAB regulations and company SOPs. You will complete all required training and checking within designated timeframes and model the professional standards expected of a line Captain.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- 500+ hours PIC time in a Japanese scheduled airline operation.
- Hold a valid JCAB ATPL (定期運送用操縦士技能証明).
- Hold a currently valid Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate.
- If aged 60 or over, successfully pass an additional aviation medical examination.
- Hold an Aeronautical Radio Operator’s Certificate.
- Complete the company’s specified training within the designated training period.
- Hold a valid passport at the time of joining.
- Aviation medical certificate valid for 3 months or more at the joining date.
🌟 Preferred experience
- Examiner pilot credentials.
- Line instructor experience.
- Management experience within an aviation organization.
