As an ATR 72 Captain, you’ll command safe, efficient regional operations while leading a professional crew and delivering an excellent passenger experience. You’ll join a safety-first, training-forward environment where your judgement, leadership, and airmanship make a daily impact.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Command ATR 72 operations with steadfast adherence to company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Exercise sound decision-making in dynamic environments, ensuring safety, punctuality, and fuel efficiency.
- Lead effective CRM, mentoring the First Officer and fostering an open, professional cockpit culture.
- Oversee end-to-end flight preparation: performance, weather, NOTAMs, weight and balance, and dispatch coordination.
- Champion a just culture, continuous improvement, and proactive safety reporting.
- Represent the airline to customers and stakeholders with professionalism on every sector.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total Time: 2,000 hours
- Turbine Time: 1,000 hours
- Multi-crew Large Aircraft: 1,000 hours on commercial transport aircraft > 5,700 kg
- License: UK CAA ATPL (accepted licenses: UK CAA only)
- Medical: Class 1
- English Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4+
- Work Authorisation: Unrestricted right to live and work in the UK (no sponsorship)
- Type Rating: Not required – company-provided ATR 72 training
