Diamond DA62 Captain — NTR Welcome, Training Provided

✈️ The opportunity

As a DA62 Captain, you’ll operate a capable, fuel‑efficient twin in single‑pilot IFR and VFR environments. You’ll own the mission from brief to block‑off: planning, performance, execution, and post‑flight professionalism, all within a strong safety and compliance culture.

🧭 What you’ll do

• Plan and conduct flights to company SOPs, managing threats and errors with sound single‑pilot decision‑making.
• Complete weight & balance, performance, fuel, and route analysis using current weather and NOTAMs.
• Operate modern integrated avionics and aircraft systems confidently and efficiently.
• Maintain regulatory and operational compliance, logs, and technical paperwork.
• Communicate clearly with operations, ATC, and customers; represent the flight department with professionalism.
• Participate in training, checking, and continuous improvement initiatives.

🧰 What you’ll bring

• Minimum 700 hours total time.
• Licences: CPL, IR, ME (UK CAA only).
• Medical: Class 1.
• English: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher.
• Type rating: Not required — full DA62 training provided (Non‑Type Rated welcome).
• Valid UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance (SC).

🌟 Preferred profile

• Recent multi‑engine piston time on DA42 / DA62 / PA31 or similar.
• Proven captaincy in a single‑pilot role.
• Comfortable in glass‑cockpit environments and modern avionics workflows.
• Strong threat & error management, workload management, and communication skills.
