We’re hiring experienced Captains to fly the DHC-6 Twin Otter on a rotational schedule—no relocation required. 🧭 What You’ll Do
- Command the DHC-6 Twin Otter in diverse and remote operations, adhering to KBA SOPs and Transport Canada regulations.
- Plan and execute every flight with precision: performance calculations, weight and balance, fuel planning, and weather/NOTAM analysis.
- Operate safely into challenging environments, including short, unimproved, and remote strips, with a safety-first mindset.
- Lead the cockpit: demonstrate strong CRM, mentor First Officers, and foster a just culture with proactive SMS reporting.
- Represent KBA professionally with clients and partners across varied cultural and operational settings.
- Adapt to changing mission profiles, locations, and schedules while maintaining operational excellence.
🧰 Minimum Requirements
- Total Time: 2000 hours minimum (2500 hours preferred)
- Licence: TCCA ATPL
- Medical: Class 1
- English Proficiency: ICAO Level 4 or higher
- Type Rating: Not required (training provided)
- Experience: Arctic and off-strip operations an asset
- Open To: TCCA licence holders
🔎 Additional Requirements
- Security: Able to obtain Transport Canada security clearance
- Passport: Valid with at least 6 months remaining
- Screening: Pre-employment drug and alcohol test with a negative result (provided at KBA expense and conducted, where possible, on the first day of employment)
