Bring your amphibious expertise to one of the world’s most dynamic archipelagos. As a Twin Otter Captain, you’ll fly challenging float and wheel operations, connect communities, and lead a professional crew under DGCA CASR with the highest safety and service standards.
✈️ The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced, type-rated DHC-6 Captain to operate amphibious missions across Indonesia. You’ll command DHC-6 300/400 aircraft on both floats and wheels, navigating coastal waters, remote waterdromes, and short runways while mentoring crew and upholding rigorous SOPs.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Command DHC-6 Twin Otter amphibious and wheel operations (VFR/IFR) in diverse environments across Indonesia.
- Execute water and short-field operations with precision, ensuring strict compliance with DGCA CASR and company SOPs.
- Lead flight crew, foster a safety-first culture, and model sound decision-making in dynamic conditions.
- Maintain airman currency and documentation, including PPC, medical, and licensing requirements.
- Collaborate across departments, manage stakeholder relationships, and represent the company professionally at all outports.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, safety reporting, and training initiatives.
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- Type Rating: Required (DHC-6 Twin Otter)
- Licenses: ICAO ATPL with DGCA validation; Float Rating
- Medical: Class 1
- Language: ELP Level 4
- Open To: ICAO license holders
- Base: Willing to be based in Indonesia (Batam area)
- Flight Time Minimums:
- Total time: 3000 hrs for float operations OR 2500 hrs for wheel operations
- In-type (DHC-6): 500 hrs
- PIC time: 100 hrs (minimum)
- Floats: Minimum 1000 hrs total float time, including 500 hrs float on type; OR minimum 1000 hrs PIC plus 500 hrs float on type in Indonesia
- Multi-engine: 40 hrs
- IFR (PIC): 100 hrs, including 40 hrs multi-engine
- Experience: Minimum 5 years as a DHC-6 300/400 Amphibious Captain
- Recency: Latest PPC within the last 12 months
🌟 Additional Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an Aviation School
- Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of DGCA CASR
- Digital Skills: Computer literate
- Team & Culture: Proven ability to manage relationships and work across diversity; strong team player
- Health: Passed medical health test and color-vision (blind color) test
- English: Minimum TOEIC score of 600
