🧭 The Mission

Operate the legendary DHC‑2 Beaver on float charter flights that link backcountry lodges, rivers, and alpine staging areas. You’ll combine precise stick-and-rudder skills with sound judgment to deliver safe, efficient, and memorable experiences in true wilderness conditions.

🧰 Key Responsibilities

• Operate DHC‑2 Beaver floatplanes on charter missions across the Yukon and NWT.
• Transport climbers, canoeists, and kayakers to and from remote put-ins and basecamps.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, safety briefings, and weight-and-balance checks.
• Manage departures, arrivals, and docking on lakes and rivers in varied weather and water conditions.
• Coordinate closely with lodge staff and ground operations to ensure timely, safe turnarounds.

🌟 What You Bring

• Minimum 1,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 500 hours floatplane time; DHC‑2 Beaver experience strongly preferred.
• Valid Canadian CPL and floatplane rating.
• Valid Class 4 Medical Certificate.
• Remote area operations experience preferred.
• Ability to meet operational weight-and-balance limits (pilot weight 200 lbs / 91 kg or less).
• Calm, professional decision-making and excellent customer service in backcountry settings.

🗺️ Operating Area

Based out of Inconnu Lodge near Finlayson Lake, you’ll support flights to remote climbing areas in the NWT and to secluded river systems throughout the Yukon.
