Falcon Aviation is seeking a skilled First Officer to fly our Dash 8 (Q400) fleet from our Abu Dhabi base. If you are current on type and ready to bring safe, efficient, and professional operations to a dynamic schedule, we want to hear from you.
🧭 The opportunity
As a First Officer on the Dash 8 Q400, you will operate multi-crew sectors from Abu Dhabi with potential assignments to additional operational locations. You will play a key role in delivering safe, compliant, and on-time operations while demonstrating exemplary airmanship and teamwork.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Operate the Dash 8 (Q400) on assigned routes and missions.
- Perform all First Officer duties within a multi-crew IFR environment.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, performance calculations, and crew briefings.
- Ensure strict adherence to company SOPs and applicable GCAA/ICAO regulations.
- Apply effective Crew Resource Management to support safe, efficient decision-making.
- Complete all post-flight reporting and operational documentation accurately and on time.
- Participate in assignments to different operational locations as required by the schedule.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Licence: Valid CPL (GCAA/FAA/ICAO) with IR and ME ratings.
- Type rating: Dash 8-400 type rating; current on type.
- Flight time: 1000+ total hours, including 200+ hours on Dash 8-400.
- Medical: Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Language: ICAO English Level 4 (minimum); strong spoken and written English.
🌟 Desirable
- GCAA licence holder.
- Immediate availability to join.
- 2+ years offshore experience on type.
- Previous or current Middle East operating experience.
📍 Base and operations
This role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with the flexibility to support assignments at other operational locations as required. You should be comfortable with rostered deployments aligned to operational needs.
