Falcon Aviation is seeking experienced Dash 8 Q400 Captains to join our Flight Operations team. This full-time, UAE-based role includes potential assignments to various locations per operational requirements.
🧭 The role
As Captain, you will command Dash 8 Q400 aircraft on scheduled and charter operations, leading a professional crew to deliver safe, on-time, and customer-focused flights.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Command Dash 8 Q400 operations in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, brief, and mentor flight crew; manage flight operations from pre-flight to shutdown.
- Conduct thorough safety briefings, performance and fuel planning, and pre-flight inspections.
- Ensure full compliance with GCAA and applicable international regulations.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, airmanship, and passenger care.
🌟 What you bring
- Current EASA/FAA/ICAO ATPL.
- Dash 8 Q400 type rating (endorsed on license).
- 5,000+ total flying hours and 1,000+ hours as PIC.
- At least 2 years’ recent experience on type.
- Good command of English, minimum ELP Level 4.
- Desirable: Current or previous GCAA license.
- Desirable: Prior operating experience in the Middle East and/or Africa.
📍 Assignment and schedule
- Primary base: United Arab Emirates, with potential deployments to other locations per operational needs.
- Roster pattern: 8/4
