Dash 8 Captain – Permanent, No Type Rating Required (Secret Clearance Eligible)

🧰 What you’ll do

• Serve as Pilot‑in‑Command of Dash 8 operations, ensuring safe, compliant flights.
• Plan and execute missions, including performance calculations, weight and balance, fuel planning, and risk assessments.
• Operate in diverse environments and weather, day or night, IFR/VFR; maintain readiness for NVG operations as applicable.
• Perform aircraft piloting duties for up to 10 hours per day.
• Work outdoors and remain effective in extreme heat, cold, and adverse weather conditions.
• Lead and mentor crew members; conduct thorough briefings and debriefings.
• Maintain training currency, records, and standards; champion a strong safety culture.
• Adhere to security and compliance protocols associated with Secret‑level operations.

🌟 Minimum requirements

• Flight experience (minimum): 1,500 hours PIC, including 500 hours multi‑engine PIC.
• License required: ATP.
• Accepted licenses: FAA.
• Medical: Class 1.
• Type rating: Not required; training provided (NTR).
• Security clearance: Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.
• Education: High school diploma.
• Passport: Current with at least 6 months remaining at all times.
• Work capacity: Perform aircraft piloting duties for up to 10 hours a day.
• Environment: Willing to work outside in a wide range of weather, including extreme heat, cold, and adverse conditions.
• COVID‑19: Vaccination required where permitted by applicable law.

• Total time: 3,000+ hours.
• Multi‑engine turbine: 1,200+ hours.
• Aerial delivery: Experience in aerial delivery operations.
• NVG: Experience in NVG operations.
