✈️ The Opportunity
Lead safe, efficient Dash 8 operations over varied terrain and weather, mentor first officers, and uphold the highest standards of airmanship. You’ll be part of a professional flight deck culture that values disciplined decision-making, excellent CRM, and on-time performance.
🧭 Minimum Requirements
- Total Time: 3,000+ hours
- PIC Time: 500+ hours
- Multi-Engine: 1,000+ hours
- License: To be confirmed by the operator (an ICAO-compliant ATPL or CPL with completed ATPL theory is typically preferred)
- Ratings: Valid multi-engine instrument rating; DHC-8/Q-Series type rating strongly preferred
- Medical: Current Class 1 medical
- Language: English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
- Recency: Meets recent flight experience per applicable regulations
- Background: Clean safety and compliance record
Candidates meeting or exceeding the stated hour thresholds and demonstrating strong command capability on multi-engine turboprops will be prioritized.

- Captain Dash 8 flights in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements
- Exercise sound judgement and leadership in all phases of flight; champion effective CRM
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and weather/NOTAM reviews
- Ensure rigorous safety, compliance, and on-time performance
- Mentor and develop first officers; foster a collaborative, professional cockpit environment
- Liaise with operations, dispatch, and maintenance to support reliable daily performance
