🧭 What you’ll do

  • Serve as Pilot‑in‑Command on the Dash 8‑400, operating every flight safely while upholding the highest personal and professional standards.
  • Lead and collaborate with flight crews and operational teams to deliver Porter’s Flying Refined service.
  • Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS), including timely reporting of hazards and incidents.
  • Understand, comply with, and promote the Company Safety Policy at all times.

🧰 What you’ll bring

  • Airline Transport Pilot Licence (Transport Canada; ICAO ATPL).
  • Minimum 2,500 hours total time.
  • EITHER 500 hours Pilot‑in‑Command on the Q400 OR 1,500 hours Pilot‑in‑Command on a heavy turboprop in excess of 44,000 lbs MGTOW.
  • Preference for time on type and experience in Canadian 705 operations.
  • Aviation college or university degree is an asset.
  • Candidates who do not meet the minimums may be considered based on overall experience and other factors.
  • Legal ability to work in Canada: valid Canadian passport OR valid international passport with a valid U.S. Crewmember Visa (C‑1/D).
