🧭 What you’ll do
- Command CRJ series operations with an unwavering focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and on-time performance.
- Exercise sound judgment and leadership in all phases of flight, including abnormal and irregular operations.
- Deliver a consistently excellent, customer-first experience across the cabin and flight deck.
- Champion SOPs, CRM, and a just culture while mentoring and supporting your crew.
- Collaborate closely with dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams to ensure smooth day-of-operations.

🌟 Minimum requirements
- Total time: 3,500+ hours
- Jet time: 500+ hours
- Licence: ATPL (TCCA)
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher
- Type rating: Not required — CRJ training provided
🧾 Additional requirements
- Ability to obtain a RAIC (security pass).
- Satisfactory criminal record check.
- Ability to obtain approval from the United States TSA to initiate training.
- A valid passport.
- Aviation diploma/degree is an asset.
- Customer service-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.
🎓 Training and progression
You’ll receive structured, company-provided CRJ series training leading to release to line as Captain. Non-type-rated candidates are welcome; training is contingent on meeting regulatory, medical, and security clearances.
- Comprehensive ground school and simulator program.
- Line indoctrination with experienced training captains.
- Ongoing recurrent training and proficiency checks.
Training start requires prior TSA approval.
