Kiewit operates a dedicated corporate flight department with a fleet of nine Learjet 70/75s and one Challenger 300, supporting travel for executives, key staff, and customers across North America. We are seeking a skilled aviator to serve as either Co‑pilot (Co‑Captain) or Pilot‑in‑Command (Captain) based on qualifications, flying a weekly schedule from Omaha, NE.

  • Employment: Permanent

  • NTR: Yes — Type rating training provided
  • Schedule: Weekly roster; average 3 days / 2 nights per week (varies with demand)

🧭 The opportunity

In this role, you will operate Learjet 70/75 and Challenger 300 aircraft as either SIC or PIC, depending on experience and currency. You will support executive and client travel throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico following a planned weekly schedule that typically averages three flight days and two overnights, adjusted for business demand.

  • Operate as Co‑pilot (SIC) or PIC to safely conduct company flight operations.
  • Plan and execute trips across North America, including preflight planning, performance calculations, weather/NOTAM reviews, fuel planning, and weight & balance.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate closely with scheduling and maintenance to ensure aircraft readiness and on‑time departures.
  • Deliver exceptional service to executives, key staff, and customers while representing the company brand.
  • Maintain required training, currency, and accurate records.
  • Work normal operating hours to organize and complete tasks; flex for overtime and weekends as required.

  • License: CPL with IR and ME (FAA)
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Total time: 1000 hours
  • PIC time: 500 hours
  • Multi‑engine: 100 hours
  • Type rating: Not required (training provided)
  • Radio licence: Valid aeronautical radiotelephone license
  • Ability to follow a planned weekly schedule, travel across North America, and stay overnight on trips (average 2 nights per week).
  • Strong CRM, communication, and decision‑making skills with a proactive safety mindset.
