✈️ The Opportunity

Join Corning Incorporated’s corporate flight department as a First Officer and help deliver safe, reliable, and passenger-focused business aviation service. You will fly a well-maintained fleet of Falcon 900EX EASy and Challenger 850 aircraft from the Elmira–Corning, NY area under an IS-BAO approved operation, with a clear path to upgrade to Captain when you meet the established criteria.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Operate company aircraft with a multi-pilot crew, ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism in day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain strong systems knowledge and procedural proficiency, meeting recurrent training and all requirements of an IS-BAO operation.
  • Verify aircraft airworthiness in accordance with FARs and company policies by completing thorough preflight inspections.
  • Review and interpret current and forecast weather conditions prior to each flight to support sound operational decisions.
  • Assist with ground handling, passenger care, and baggage at terminal points; lifting as required.
  • Engage with passengers and company personnel in a courteous, discreet, and service-oriented manner.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Operations or the Chief Pilot.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

  • 1,500+ hours total time.
  • FAA CPL with Instrument and Multiengine ratings.
  • Current FAA First Class Medical.
  • Valid U.S. passport.
  • Two-year college degree or equivalent relevant job experience.
  • Clean FAA/DOT/DOJ records.

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

  • 2,500+ hours total time and an ATP.
  • 500+ hours turbojet time.
  • Multi-crew experience with effective use of CRM.
  • Type ratings: CL-65 or DA-EASy.
