Lead safe, discreet worldwide operations for an executive flight department under Part 91. Command the Gulfstream G650 and G800 with full PIC authority, supporting global travel for senior corporate leadership.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Serve as Captain with full PIC authority on worldwide missions aboard the Gulfstream G650 and G800.
- Plan and execute international operations across oceanic, remote, and complex airspace with precision and discretion.
- Champion a strong safety culture through proactive SMS practices and effective CRM.
- Ensure regulatory compliance for domestic and international operations, including performance, navigation, and customs/immigration requirements.
- Coordinate seamlessly with flight crew, scheduling, and maintenance to deliver on-time, customer-focused missions.
- Maintain impeccable standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and service for senior executives.
- Stay current on training, currency, and documentation, and support continuous improvement within the flight department.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total Time: 4,000 hours
- PIC Time: 3,000 hours
- License: ATP — FAA
- Medical: Class 1
- Type Rating: Not required (training provided); recent experience in large‑cabin Gulfstream or comparable aircraft and proven international experience
- Permits: Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Passport: Valid with no travel restrictions; able to operate internationally without limitation
- Safety: Strong SMS and CRM skills
- Location: Reside within a 2‑hour drive of KHPN
- Screening: Able to pass comprehensive background investigation and drug screening
🌟 Preferred qualifications
- G650 (GVI) and/or G800 (GVIII) type ratings with current PIC experience
- 2,000 hours in fixed‑wing jets; 1,500 hours in large‑cabin jets
- International operations experience across NAT, South America, Europe, Asia, India, and Middle East routes
- Large corporate flight department or equivalent military leadership experience

- Home base: KHPN (Westchester County, NY); must live within a 2‑hour commute
- Worldwide travel supporting senior leadership; flexibility to meet mission requirements
- Discreet, service‑oriented operations with a focus on safety, reliability, and privacy
