Corporate Captain — Embraer Praetor/Legacy (EMB-550)

✈️ The Mission

As PIC, you are operationally responsible for the team members and aircraft assigned to you in support of the travel requirements of corporate executive teams. You’ll champion safety, readiness, and exceptional service on every leg.

🧭 What You’ll Do

• Command all assigned flights as PIC, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.
• Lead and mentor crew members, promoting effective CRM and clear communication.
• Conduct thorough preflight planning, risk assessment, performance and weight/balance calculations, and postflight reviews.
• Coordinate seamlessly with company departments, regulatory authorities, and maintenance to maintain aircraft readiness.
• Engage professionally with corporate executives, providing a discreet, reliable travel experience.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

• Total Time: 4,000 hours
• Jet PIC: 1,500 hours minimum
• Type Rating: Required
• License: ATP (FAA)
• Medical: Class 1
• Flight Time Notes: 1,500 hrs minimum Jet PIC

🌟 Preferred

• Current EMB-550 type rating and time in type.

🧭 Additional Requirements

• No FAA violations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with corporate executives, regulatory agencies, and department personnel.
• Four-year college degree or equivalent industry experience.
