STA Jets is building a roster of experienced, typed Hawker HS‑125 contract pilots in Costa Mesa, CA. If you’re current within the last 12 months and meet the qualifications below, we’ll set you up in our system for upcoming contract flying.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Operate the Hawker HS‑125 safely and in full compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
- Perform preflight planning, performance calculations, and weather/NOTAM reviews.
- Complete thorough aircraft preflight and postflight tasks, documentation, and logs.
- Coordinate with operations/dispatch, maintenance, and clients to support mission success.
- Maintain currency and professional standards consistent with contract assignments.
Note: Specific trip profiles, routes, and schedules are assigned per engagement and will be discussed during onboarding.
🧭 Qualifications
- Typed on Hawker HS‑125 and current within the last 12 months.
- ATP Certificate (Multi‑Engine Land) — unrestricted.
- Current FAA First Class medical.
🌟 Experience minimums
- Total time: 1,500–3,500 hours
- Multi‑engine total: 2,500 hours
- Multi‑engine PIC: 1,500 hours
- PIC time in type (HS‑125): 100 hours
- Turbine time: 2,000 hours
