Join Jet Access as a typed-and-current CJ3 Captain and lead safe, seamless Part 135 and Part 91 operations for discerning owners and charter clients. ✈️ About the opportunity
In this captaincy, you’ll command CJ3 missions for both managed and charter clients, make final go/no‑go decisions, and lead First Officers with a focus on safety, professionalism, and premium service. You’ll coordinate closely with Maintenance and the Operations Control Center, ensure regulatory and documentation precision, and represent Jet Access to aircraft owners and passengers on domestic and international itineraries.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Serve as senior crewmember; set the safety, airmanship, and service standard on every leg.
- Operate in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual, company policy, and applicable FARs.
- Exercise operational control for the Director of Operations and make final go/no‑go decisions.
- Lead flight planning, performance, weather and NOTAM analysis, and crew briefings.
- Ensure compliance with flight‑time, duty‑time, and rest limitations; maintain currency and proficiency.
- Deliver personalized premium client service: passenger briefings, in‑flight service oversight, and itinerary changes via the Operations Control Center.
- Review flight and maintenance logs; verify airworthiness; oversee preflight/post‑flight, routine servicing, and engine‑trend data capture.
- Confirm manuals, charts, and required equipment are current and onboard; coordinate timely maintenance.
- Complete accurate flight, aircraft, and passenger records.
- Act as Ground and In‑flight Security Coordinator as applicable.
- Verify international travel documents; coordinate customs and immigration; comply with FAA, ICAO, and foreign‑authority rules.
- Mentor First Officers, provide constructive debriefs, foster open communication and shared accountability, and report development insights to the Chief Pilot.
- Support special projects that advance safety, standardization, and company growth.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Certificates/Medical: ATP (Unrestricted) and current First Class Medical.
- Minimum experience: 3,000+ hours total time; 1,500+ hours PIC; 500+ hours multi‑engine PIC; 250+ hours PIC in type (CE‑525B); 250+ hours turbine PIC on the assigned aircraft.
- Recency: Initial or recurrent training on the required aircraft type within the past 12 months.
- Regulatory & technical: Working knowledge of FAR Part 135 and Part 91; proficiency with digital flight‑planning tools, avionics, and web/mobile flight apps.
- Credentials: Valid state driver’s license and passport; able to pass background check and pre‑employment drug screening.
- Operational readiness: Meets FAA medical and physical standards for Part 135 PIC operations; able to support domestic/international travel, extended duty and overnights, multi‑day trips, evenings/weekends, and routine on‑call periods.
- Professional traits: Strong alignment with Jet Access values; clear communicator; client‑service mindset; mentorship‑oriented; continuous‑improvement focus.
