Step into the left seat of the Citation Excel/XLS/XLS+ and lead every mission with confidence. If you bring solid multi-engine and PIC experience, a safety-first mindset, and a thorough command of flight operations, we’ll invest in your type rating and set you up for success at our St. Louis base.

🧭 Your mission

  • Serve as Captain on Citation Excel/XLS/XLS+ operations, delivering safe, efficient, and passenger-focused flights.
  • Apply thorough knowledge of flight operations, SOPs, and best practices across all phases of flight.
  • Plan and execute trips: performance calculations, weather/NOTAM review, fuel planning, weight & balance, and postflight reports.
  • Exercise sound judgment, CRM, and risk management in dynamic operational environments.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with crew, scheduling/ops, and maintenance to ensure reliable, on-time performance.
  • Use company systems and documentation tools; maintain proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

  • Total Time: 2,000 hours
  • PIC Time: 500 hours
  • Multi-Engine: 1,000 hours
  • Licenses: FAA CPL, IR, ME
  • Medical: Class 2
  • Type Rating: Not required; company-provided training
  • Technology: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Location: Willing to relocate within a 1-hour drive of Spirit of St. Louis Airport (KSUS)

🌟 Preferred profile

  • Current or prior CFI, CFII, and/or MEI
  • Charter or other corporate flight experience
  • Polished customer-service approach and professional cockpit/cabin etiquette

📍 Your base: St. Louis

Operate from Spirit of St. Louis Airport (KSUS) in Chesterfield, MO—an accessible, business-friendly hub with excellent facilities and quick access to the greater St. Louis area. Candidates must be able to reside within a one-hour commute.
