Citation XLS+ Co-Pilot (Second-in-Command) – Austin, TX

🧭 What you’ll do

• Operate the Citation XLS+ safely as Second-in-Command, supporting the PIC across every phase of flight.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and ensure airworthiness before each flight.
• Conduct thorough preflight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Plan and brief each mission, including comprehensive weather, NOTAMs, facilities, and alternates for all intended airports.
• Comply with Solairus Aviation policies/procedures and all applicable FARs.
• Safeguard the safety and comfort of passengers, aircraft, and crew at all times.
• Accurately complete all trip paperwork and administrative tasks in accordance with current procedures.

🧰 What you bring

• Minimum flight experience:
  • 1,000 hours total time
  • 500 hours PIC
  • 500 hours multi-engine land
  • 100 hours multi-engine PIC
  • 100 hours turbojet time
  • 75 hours instrument time
• Type rating in the Citation XLS+ (or comparable aircraft).
• FAA First Class Medical certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis and partner effectively within a small, high-trust crew.
• Willingness to complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KAUS (Austin, TX) or willingness to relocate.
