✈️ The Opportunity

Join a safety-first, service-driven flight department and take the left seat of a well-maintained Citation XLS based at KMMU. As Captain, you will lead each mission with sound judgment, professionalism, and a meticulous focus on compliance, passenger care, and operational excellence.

🧭 What You’ll Do

• Serve as Pilot in Command of the Citation XLS, operating every flight safely and prudently.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and airworthiness prior to departure.
• Conduct thorough preflight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Plan and brief each flight: evaluate weather, NOTAMs, route facilities, performance, fuel, and suitable alternates.
• Ensure full compliance with Solairus Aviation policies and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Protect the safety and security of passengers, aircraft, and crew at all times.
• Complete all trip paperwork and post-flight documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain required currency, including annual ICAO international procedures training.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

• Minimum flight time: 3,000 hours total; 1,500 PIC; 1,500 multi-engine land; 500 multi-engine PIC; 500 turbojet; 250 instrument.
• Type rating on the Citation XLS or a comparable aircraft.
• Current FAA First-Class Medical.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis with dependable schedule flexibility.
• Annual completion of ICAO international procedures training.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KMMU or willingness to relocate.
• Professionalism, discretion, strong CRM skills, and polished customer service.

🕒 Schedule & Base

• On-call operation; responsiveness and flexibility required.
• Home base: Morristown Municipal Airport (KMMU), Morristown, NJ.
