✈️ Lead Citation XLS Operations on the California Central Coast
ACI Jet is hiring a seasoned Citation XLS Captain to join our Flight Ops team in San Luis Obispo, CA. You’ll operate ACI Jet aircraft on behalf of Executive Jet Management under Part 135, delivering safe, compliant, efficient, and customer‑focused flights.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Operate the Citation XLS safely and efficiently in full compliance with company policies, manufacturer guidance, the Part 135 certificate, and all applicable regulations.
- Coordinate closely with ACI Jet Flight Dispatch to meet operational goals, schedules, and standards.
- Deliver exceptional courtesy, professionalism, and white‑glove service to clients and aircraft owners.
- Keep Electronic Flight Bags current with the latest navigation and application data; stay proficient with all relevant manuals and procedures.
- Execute comprehensive preflight planning and inspections, including verification of aircraft status, publications, documentation, equipment, passenger service items, fuel, destination and enroute weather, alternates, departure points, customs/permits (as applicable), and airport/runway suitability.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- Current and valid FAA pilot certificate with English Proficient endorsement.
- ATP (unrestricted or restricted) and ability to maintain a First Class Medical.
- Valid United States passport.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 3–5 years of professional aviation experience.
- Proven teamwork, strong motivation, and excellent organizational skills in high‑stress, fast‑paced environments.
🎯 Flight time minimums
- Total time: 3,500 hours
- PIC: 2,000 hours
- Multi‑engine: 1,500 hours
- Multi‑engine PIC: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Turbine: 500 hours
