Citation XLS+ Captain – Fort Lauderdale (KFXE) | Full-Time

✈️ The Opportunity

Solairus Aviation is seeking a seasoned Citation XLS+ Captain to join our Fort Lauderdale-based operation at KFXE. In this full-time, on-call role, you’ll lead safe, passenger-focused flight operations while representing a premium managed account and the high standards of Solairus Aviation.

🧭 What You’ll Do

• Captain the Citation XLS+ with an unwavering commitment to safety, professionalism, and service.
• Review aircraft maintenance status and ensure airworthiness prior to each departure.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections per the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Plan and brief each trip, including comprehensive weather, NOTAMs, route, and airport (and alternate) assessments.
• Operate in strict adherence to Solairus policies, procedures, and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Safeguard passengers, crew, and aircraft throughout all phases of flight.
• Accurately complete all trip documentation and post-flight paperwork.

🧰 What You Bring

• Flight time minimums:
  • Total time: 3,000 hours
  • PIC: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
  • MEL PIC: 500 hours
  • Turbojet: 500 hours
  • Instrument: 250 hours
• Type rating on the Citation XLS+ (or comparable aircraft).
• Current FAA First Class Medical.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis with flexibility for dynamic schedules.
• Ability to complete ICAO International Procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KFXE, or willingness to relocate.
• Strong judgment, excellent CRM, and polished client-service mindset.
