Contour Airlines is seeking a sharp, safety-driven First Officer to join its Citation XL/XLS fleet within a fast-paced Part 135 on-demand charter operation. ✈️ What you’ll do
- Serve as First Officer on the Citation XL/XLS, upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance, and passenger care.
- Partner with the Captain to plan and execute flights in accordance with company procedures and FAA regulations.
- Deliver polished, customer-focused service from briefing to block-in.
- Contribute to a culture of teamwork, punctuality, and operational excellence in a dynamic, irregular schedule environment.
🧭 Minimum qualifications
- At least 18 years of age; legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Current, valid passport; able to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Polished, professional interpersonal skills and a positive, customer‑focused attitude.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time‑management skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to lift 75 lbs routinely with or without reasonable accommodation.
🧰 Flight credentials
- Commercial Pilot Certificate (CPL) with multi‑engine rating.
- SIC Type Rating for Citation XL/XLS.
- First‑Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum 1,200 total flight hours.
- Minimum 250 Pilot‑in‑Command hours.
- Minimum 25 Multi‑Engine Land hours.
- Minimum 75 instrument hours.
- No excessive check ride failures; no previous aviation‑related accidents or incidents.
🌟 Compliance and safety
- Pass DOT required pre‑employment drug screening and ongoing FAA/Company random drug & alcohol testing.
- Successfully complete a 10‑year employment background check.
- Pass TSA criminal history and fingerprint checks.
- Adhere to all safety regulations; comply with OSHA, EPA, state, and federal requirements.
- Flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts.
