STA Jets is seeking an experienced PIC to join our KSNA-based operation. You’ll champion safety, deliver a premium client experience, and represent our brand with professionalism while flying one of the world’s fastest business jets.

As Citation X Captain, you will set the standard for safety and service on every mission, operate with agility in a dynamic schedule environment, and foster trust and teamwork across the flight department.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Act as PIC, leading safe, compliant operations to the highest industry standards.
- Deliver an exceptional passenger experience from briefing to arrival.
- Represent STA Jets with professionalism on and off the aircraft.
- Adapt to changing flight schedules and operational priorities.
- Support, empower, and respect fellow crew members and team stakeholders.
- Pursue continuous improvement and professional growth within the company.
🧰 What You Bring
- ATP (MEL) — unrestricted or restricted.
- Current FAA First Class Medical.
- Current Citation X PIC type rating.
- Southern California residency (required).
- Proven commitment to safety, service, and team collaboration.
📊 Minimum Flight Experience
- Total time: 4,000+ hours
- Multi-engine total: 3,000+ hours
- Multi-engine PIC: 2,000+ hours (fixed-wing)
- PIC time in type: 250+ hours on Citation X
🌟 Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay: $185,000–$225,000 (commensurate with experience)
- 401(k): 100% company match up to 4% of salary
- Health: 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision
- Loss-of-medical: Disability benefits at 65% of annual income for up to 5 years
- Paid time off: Two weeks of vacation per year
- Relocation: Not provided
