Citation Sovereign Captain (PIC) — Part 91 Corporate Flight Dept., San Antonio

🧭 What you’ll do

• Serve as PIC with final authority for safe, compliant operation of company aircraft.
• Plan, brief, and execute flights per FAA regulations, company policies, and aircraft limitations.
• Verify all required documentation, certifications, and operational materials are onboard prior to departure.
• Evaluate weather, airports, aircraft performance, and operational risks; delay, cancel, or divert when conditions warrant.
• Lead the First Officer and crew, modeling effective CRM and teamwork.
• Adhere to company SOPs and SMS; help develop and improve safety initiatives.
• Provide professional, discreet executive passenger care; assist with baggage and travel needs.
• Maintain required training, licenses, certifications, and currency.
• Collaborate within a small, high-performing aviation team; take on additional assignments as directed by the Chief Pilot or Aviation Manager.

🧰 What you bring

• Certificates: ATP with multi-engine; valid FAA First Class Medical; Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• Travel documents: Valid U.S. passport (international travel capable) and valid driver’s license; English language proficiency.
• Flight experience (minimum): 3,000 hours total time; 1,500 hours PIC; 150 hours instrument; 300 hours night; 1,000 hours turbine.
• Background: Multi-crew aircraft experience and current or previous turbojet qualification.
• Records: Clean FAA, DOT, and DOJ records; no violations or deviations within the past seven years.
• Location & availability: Able to reside within one hour of KSAT or relocate; frequent travel; ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Preferred: Citation Sovereign (CE-680) type rating; 3+ years corporate aviation experience; bachelor’s degree.
