Air New England is hiring a full-time Captain to operate a Citation Mustang C510 in Part 135 charter service throughout the Northeast and beyond. Based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire (KPSM), you’ll serve as PIC, uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance, and deliver an exceptional client experience while coordinating closely with maintenance and scheduling teams.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Serve as PIC for charter missions in the Citation Mustang (C510).
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance, and meticulous aircraft inspections.
- Operate to the highest safety standards while ensuring full compliance with company procedures and all applicable regulations.
- Deliver professional, attentive customer service to passengers and clients on every leg.
- Maintain accurate flight logs and submit all operational reports on time.
- Coordinate with maintenance and scheduling to confirm aircraft readiness and optimize operational efficiency.
- Represent Air New England with professionalism on the ramp, on the radio, and in the cabin.
🧰 What you’ll bring
Minimum qualifications
- 2,000+ hours total time and at least 350 hours multi-engine time.
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (AMEL) with Instrument Rating; meets 14 CFR 135.243(c) PIC minimums.
- Completed 14 CFR 135.293/297 check, or a 61.56 flight review with instrument proficiency check, within the previous 6 months.
- Current First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Current U.S. passport with unrestricted travel.
- Strong IFR knowledge and proficiency, with proven experience in Northeast/New England weather and airspace.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and CRM skills.
- Schedule flexibility, including availability on weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to reside within approximately one hour’s drive of KPSM.
Preferred qualifications
- 500+ hours multi-engine time (strongly preferred).
- Significant multi-engine turbine time.
- Prior Part 135 PIC experience.
- Citation time in type (C510).
