Citation Excel/XLS/XLS+ Captain (PIC) – Part 91/135

Lead the Flight Deck of a Midsize Citation Excel/XLS/XLS+

Jet Linx is hiring a seasoned PIC to operate our midsize Citation Excel/XLS/XLS+ under Part 91 and 135. As Captain, you will ensure safe, efficient, and exceptional operations in alignment with FARs and company procedures, reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot.

Home base call-out: Within 2 hours (live locally or willing to relocate)

✈️ About the Role

The Captain prepares, leads, and executes every phase of flight to the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and client care. You will serve as the final authority for the operation of the aircraft and the leader of the flight crew.

Plan and conduct flights in compliance with FARs, company manuals, and operational control.
Perform aircraft performance calculations, weight and balance, weather/NOTAM review, routing, and fuel planning.
Exercise command authority for all safety decisions and risk management throughout each mission.
Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams to ensure aircraft readiness and schedule integrity.
Lead crew resource management, set a professional tone in the cabin, and deliver an elevated client experience.
Maintain currency, training, and records in accordance with company requirements and regulatory standards.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

Total Time: 3,500 hours
PIC Time: 2,000 hours
Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours
Turbine: 500 hours
In Type: 250 hours
PIC in Type: 250 hours
Instrument: 300 hours (total)
Type Rating: Citation Excel/XLS/XLS+ (required)
License: ATP Qualified; FAA certificate holders
Medical: First Class
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

🌟 Preferred

Initial or Recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months

🧭 Additional Requirements

Current passport; unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries
FCC Restricted Radio License
Ability to obtain a U.S. driver’s license
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with random drug/alcohol testing
Ability to release and pass an FAA Pilot Records Database (PRD) review with a System Chief Pilot
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Residence within, or willingness to relocate within, a 2-hour call-out of the assigned home base

📍 Location & Schedule

This is a full-time, permanent Captain role based at a Jet Linx home base with operational call-outs. Schedule varies by mission requirements under Part 91/135, including day/night and weekend/holiday operations.
