✈️ Captain (PIC) — Cessna Citation Excel/XLS/XLS+ (C560XL)
Shoreline Aviation is seeking a safety-first, decisive, and customer-focused Part 135 Captain to join our team on the South Shore of Massachusetts. As Pilot in Command on the Cessna Citation 560XL (Excel/XLS/XLS+), you will lead every flight with professionalism, sound judgment, and a collaborative spirit alongside our dispatch and maintenance teams. This role is based at Marshfield Municipal Airport (KGHG) and is not commutable; you must live within two hours of Marshfield, MA.
🧰 What You’ll Do
- Operate as Pilot in Command of the Citation 560XL, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant flights in accordance with Shoreline Aviation policies, FAA regulations, and manufacturer guidance.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance and dispatch to assess destination airports, weather, and any maintenance irregularities to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Foster a professional, safety-focused cockpit environment with clear communication and sound, timely decision-making.
🌟 Minimum Qualifications
- Flight Time: 1,500 hours total time; 500 hours cross-country; 100 hours night; 75 hours instrument
- Regulatory: Meets 135.234(c) PIC requirements
- Medical: Current First Class medical
- License: ATP (unrestricted) or ATP written completed
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Residence: Live within, or be willing to relocate within, two hours of Marshfield, MA (KGHG)
✨ Preferred Experience
- 3,000+ hours total time
- Time in type on the C560XL or other Citation series
- Prior Part 135 experience
