As a Captain on our Cirrus SR20/22 fleet, you’ll deliver industry-leading aviation support so lifesaving gifts reliably reach the people who need them most.

TxJet partners with transplant centers and organ procurement organizations nationwide to ensure time-sensitive organ recovery missions are executed with precision, safety, and speed. Every flight supports a patient, a family, and a second chance at life.
🧰 What You’ll Do
- Plan and execute IFR/VFR flights in the Cirrus SR20/22 to support organ recovery and transplant logistics across the U.S.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance and weight-and-balance calculations, and risk assessments with a safety-first mindset.
- Maintain strict compliance with FARs, company procedures, and aircraft flight manuals.
- Coordinate closely with dispatch and clinical recovery teams to align departure, recovery, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure aircraft readiness, cleanliness, and accurate documentation, including flight logs and post-mission reports.
- Participate in recurrent training to maintain proficiency and mission readiness.
🌟 What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 1,000 hours total time.
- FAA CPL with IR.
- Current FAA Class 2 Medical.
- High Performance endorsement.
- Thorough knowledge of FARs, Flight Manuals, and instructions pertinent to assigned duties.
- Demonstrated IFR proficiency, sound judgment, and excellent cockpit resource management.
- Clear, professional communication and a collaborative approach with clinical and operations teams.
- Commitment to mission reliability, attention to detail, and compassionate service.
➕ Preferred Qualifications
- Recent experience in type (Cirrus SR20/22).
- Background in time-critical aviation operations or medical/logistics support.
