Lead, mentor, and fly with a purpose. Pacific Sky Aviation is seeking a Chief Pilot who will champion safety and operational excellence, shape SOPs under the Private Operations Manual and the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), and serve as a hands-on Training Captain across a capable turboprop fleet. If you thrive at the intersection of high standards, people leadership, and precision flying, this is your cockpit.

🧭 What you’ll lead

  • Maintain oversight of client requirements and service delivery standards.
  • Supervise PSAI flight crew and provide day-to-day operational leadership.
  • Develop, refine, and enforce SOPs within the Private Operations Manual in alignment with the CARs.
  • Serve as Training Captain; design, deliver, and manage initial and recurrent training programs.
  • Oversee tracking, currency, and compliance of crew qualifications and records.
  • Perform Captain duties on at least two company turboprop types.
  • Provide people leadership, coaching, and performance management.
  • Assume the General Manager – Corporate Flight Operations role during absences.

🧰 What you bring

  • Current and valid ATPL.
  • Valid Category 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Canadian passport.
  • PIC experience on at least one of: Dash 8-400 (DH8-400), King Air 350CER, Twin Otter 400 (DHC6-400), or Turbo Beaver (DC2-T).
  • Demonstrated experience and strong working knowledge of the CARs.
  • Proven leadership experience within flight operations.

  • Authorized Check Pilot (ACP) authority.
  • Previous Assistant Chief Pilot or Chief Pilot experience.
  • Current Flight Instructor Rating.
