✈️ The opportunity

As a Touring Captain, you’ll lead safe, efficient single-pilot IFR charter flights and curated air tours for small groups. From coastal strips to outback stations, you’ll combine precision flying with warm hospitality—setting the tone for unforgettable journeys across Australia.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Captain single-pilot IFR charter and tour sectors, maintaining exemplary safety and decision-making standards.
  • Plan and execute multi-day itineraries, including fuel, weather, performance, and remote aerodrome considerations.
  • Host and guide passengers with professionalism—from preflight briefings to insightful commentary on tour highlights.
  • Operate and manage aircraft such as the PA31, C208, or BE20 in varied environments and conditions.
  • Complete accurate operational documentation, flight logs, and safety reporting.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and ground teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.

🧰 What you’ll bring

  • Licence: Australian CPL (Aeroplanes)
  • Ratings: IR (Aeroplanes) and MEA class rating
  • Hours: 1500+ total time on aeroplanes, including 150 hours planned under IFR
  • Type experience: Minimum 100 hours on PA31, C208, or BE20
  • Significant prior experience suitable for single-pilot IFR operations.
  • Demonstrated background in hospitality or tour guiding, with strong customer service skills.
  • Unrestricted Australian work rights (Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or permanent resident visa); visa sponsorship is not available.
