Waltzing Matilda Aviation is hiring a full-time Pilot in Command to fly our Bombardier Challenger 604 under FAR Part 135, based at Hanscom AFB (BED) in Bedford, Massachusetts. ✈️ The Opportunity

As PIC on the CL-604, you will lead safe, efficient, and passenger-focused missions across domestic and international routes. You’ll join a culture that values professionalism, decision-making, and continuous improvement—backed by strong operational support and pilot-centric benefits.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Pilot in Command on Challenger 604 missions in Part 135 operations.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and risk management.
  • Lead and mentor flight crew, coordinating closely with dispatch and maintenance.
  • Deliver a refined customer experience while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and weather/NOTAM analysis.
  • Uphold company SOPs, FAA regulations, and international procedures where applicable.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

  • Current CL-604 type rating
  • At least 23 years of age; high school diploma or GED
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot — Multi-Engine Land (ATP)
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit
  • Ability to pass a 10-year background check and FAA Drug & Alcohol testing
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States and travel in/out of the U.S. without restriction
  • Part 135 experience
  • Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs
  • Minimum flight time: 2,500 hours total; 500 hours turbine; 100 hours turbine PIC
  • Current instrument proficiency check, line check, and route check
