Lead safe, world-class jet operations from Alberta’s capital. As Captain on the Bombardier Challenger 604/605, you’ll set the tone for exceptional safety, service, and performance on every mission.
✈️ The opportunity
Step into a leadership role flying a long-range, cabin-class business jet. You’ll captain missions across Canada, the U.S., and abroad, partnering with a professional crew and operations team to deliver safe, timely, and discreet transportation for discerning passengers.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Exercise overall command of flight operations, ensuring the highest safety standards from preflight to shutdown.
- Plan and execute flights in compliance with Transport Canada regulations, company SOPs, and international procedures.
- Conduct thorough flight planning: performance, fuel, route and alternates, NOTAMs, weather, and ETOPS considerations where applicable.
- Lead and mentor the flight crew, promoting excellent CRM, clear communication, and a just culture within the SMS.
- Deliver a premium passenger experience with professionalism, confidentiality, and proactive service.
- Coordinate with maintenance and dispatch to ensure aircraft readiness and accurate tech log entries.
- Maintain currency and proficiency through recurrent training and checks; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
🧰 What you bring
- Transport Canada ATPL (or CPL with ATPL exams completed) and a valid Category 1 Medical.
- Substantial multi-crew jet experience with proven PIC leadership; Challenger 604/605 time or type rating is a strong asset.
- Expert knowledge of IFR operations, international procedures, performance planning, and high-altitude/long-range operations.
- Demonstrated proficiency with SOPs, CRM, and Safety Management Systems; cool-headed decision-making under pressure.
- Valid passport and the ability to travel internationally, including to the United States (visas/ESTA as required).
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a RAIC and required security clearances.
- Exceptional communication, professionalism, and customer service; comfortable with irregular hours and winter operations common in Alberta.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
