✈️ Role overview
As the SIC on the Challenger 3500, you’ll be an essential part of a tight-knit flight department—supporting the Captain, ensuring uncompromising safety, and delivering a consistently professional experience on every leg, domestic and international.
🧭 Where you’ll be based
Home base is Greeley, Colorado. To support operational readiness, you must be able to reside within approximately one hour of the flight department hangar.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Execute all SIC duties on the Challenger 3500 in accordance with company procedures and aviation regulations.
- Partner with the Captain on preflight planning, performance and weight-and-balance, weather and NOTAM review, fuel strategy, and route selection.
- Maintain disciplined checklist use, robust CRM, and clear crew communications.
- Support international operations, including documentation, customs/immigration coordination, and adherence to foreign operating requirements.
- Protect a safety-first culture by complying with training, qualification, and proficiency standards—and staying current on aircraft systems and procedures.
- Assist with trip logistics and post-flight duties, aircraft care, and accurate recordkeeping as needed.
🌟 What you bring (minimum requirements)
- Minimum 1,200 hours total time, with recent multiengine airplane experience.
- FAA CPL with IR and ME ratings; First Class Medical.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the training, qualification, and proficiency required to serve as SIC in the Challenger 3500.
- Valid passport enabling unrestricted international travel.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Ability to reside within approximately one hour of Greeley, CO hangar.
- Meets company standards for employment, background screening, training, travel, and aircraft insurance eligibility.
- Type rating not required—training is provided.
🚀 Preferred qualifications
- Challenger 300/350/3500 experience or CL-30 type rating.
- Previous multiengine turbine or turbojet time.
- Hands-on international operations experience, including trip planning, customs and immigration procedures, and familiarity with foreign operating requirements.
