SkyShare is hiring an experienced First Officer to support a managed Challenger 350 based in Salt Lake City. In this owner-directed environment, you’ll pair impeccable airmanship with elevated client service to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient trips across changing schedules, weather, and time zones.

  • Be the right hand in a two-pilot cockpit, ensuring every leg is executed to the highest standards.
  • Thrive in a fast-growing private aviation company spanning fractional ownership, charter, and management with a fleet from Pilatus PC-12s to Gulfstream GVs.
  • Enjoy a predictable baseline of 8 hard days off each month, plus free flights on unoccupied trips.

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Operate the Challenger 350 safely and efficiently in strict adherence to FAA regulations, company policies, SOPs, and checklists.
  • Support trips that may extend up to 8 consecutive days with duty periods up to 14 hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, multiple time zones, and dynamic weather.
  • Demonstrate crisp decision-making, proactive problem-solving, and clear oral/written communication.
  • Deliver a polished, hospitality-forward experience and represent the owner and SkyShare with professionalism at all times.
  • Manage rest effectively to remain flight-ready and adaptable to changing mission demands.
  • Occasionally move items up to 80 pounds and confidently handle/care for animals before, during, and after flights.
  • Maintain discretion, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of the operation.

🧰 What You Bring

  • Flight time: Minimum 2,000 hours total, including 300 multi-engine, 200 turbine, 200 jet, and 200 instrument.
  • Certificates: FAA Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) with appropriate category/class; FAA Instrument Rating.
  • Medical/Permits: Current FAA First Class Medical and FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Travel Docs: Valid U.S. passport and driver’s license.
  • Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Currency: Current IFR knowledge and experience.
  • Soft skills: Safety-first mindset, strong interpersonal communication, high accountability, sound judgment, and collaborative team orientation.
  • Professional presence: Customer-facing polish, excellent first-impression skills, and confidentiality.
  • Proximity: Reside within ~2-hour drive of Salt Lake City International Airport or willing to relocate within 2 months.

📍 Base & Schedule

Primary base is Salt Lake City, Utah, with an owner-driven, fluid schedule. Expect multi-day trips, hotel overnights, and operations spanning weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays. SkyShare maintains operational hubs in Ogden and Salt Lake City and provides FBO/Fuel services at Gnoss Field (Novato, CA).
