Solairus Aviation is seeking a seasoned Challenger 300 (CL30) Captain to join a professional three-pilot team based at Chicago Executive Airport (KPWK) in Wheeling, Illinois. This is an on-call operation suited to a Captain who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to relocate or commute within a two-hour radius of the base.

Lead safe, efficient domestic and international operations in a well-supported flight department. You’ll be the face of exceptional airmanship and service, balancing precision, discretion, and flexibility in a fast-paced, on-call environment.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Serve as Pilot in Command on the Challenger 300, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.
- Plan and execute flights in accordance with FAA and ICAO procedures, company policies, and best practices.
- Coordinate seamlessly with crew members in a three-pilot operation to manage schedules, readiness, and mission execution.
- Deliver professional, guest-focused service while safeguarding confidentiality and security.
- Maintain currency, training, and records, including annual ICAO international procedures training.
- Adapt to an on-call roster with short-notice dispatch readiness.
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- License: Valid FAA ATPL
- Medical: Current First Class medical certificate
- Total Time: 3,000 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours (including 500 hours MEL PIC)
- Turbojet Time: 500 hours
- Instrument: 250 hours
- Type Rating: CL30 (or comparable aircraft)
- Training: Able to complete annual ICAO International Procedures training
- Availability: Comfortable working on an on-call basis
- Base: Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KPWK or willingness to relocate
