🧭 The Opportunity
Vista America is hiring a permanent, full-time, home-based Captain to command the Challenger 300/350 across the United States. In this role, you will blend flight-deck leadership with sharp problem-solving, thoughtful brand ambassadorship, and iconic luxury service—backed by a global operation, 24/7/365 pilot leadership, and day-to-day support from the Operational Control Center. 🧰 What You’ll Do
- Serve as Captain on the CL300/350, ensuring uncompromising safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to a robust Safety Management System and Just Culture.
- Deliver polished, personalized service to passengers and represent the Vista brand with professionalism and care.
- Plan and execute domestic and international IFR operations, coordinating closely with OCC, Dispatch, Maintenance, and ground teams.
- Act as a decisive problem-solver and supportive teammate—ready to lend a hand across the operation.
- Collaborate with and mentor crew members; report to the Flight Operations Manager with 24/7 access to pilot leadership, chief pilot, FOMs, and DOs.
- Uphold fatigue-management practices and continuously elevate safety, service, and on-time performance.
🧭 What You Bring
- Certificates: ATP (unrestricted) with a jet type rating; Challenger type preferred.
- Experience (CL30 minimums): 3,000 hours fixed-wing total; 1,500 hours PIC; 1,500 hours multi-engine; 1,000 hours turbine; 300 hours logged IFR.
- Recent flight time: 150 hours in the last 365 days and 30 hours in the last 90 days.
- Medical: Current FAA First Class Medical.
- Record: No accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions within the last five years.
- Standards: Meets ICAO Annex 1–2.1.10 requirements for multi-pilot international commercial air transport operations.
- Authorization: Authorized to work in the United States and travel to/from all cities and countries served.
- Mindset: Safety-first leadership, luxury-service orientation, and a collaborative, solution-driven approach.

- Sign-on bonus: $25,000 for typed and current direct-entry CL30 Captains.
- Compensation: Year 1 guaranteed base pay of $195,000; total compensation potential up to $247,825; extra-day pay; monthly flight-hour bonus; paid training days.
- Per diem: $75/day domestic and $120/day international.
- Quality of life: Home basing; stable 15/13 schedule set 12 months in advance; training scheduled six months ahead.
