🧭 About the role
In this Part 135 PIC position, you’ll operate CE-500 aircraft on domestic and international charter trips, represent the Million Air brand with grace, and uphold a robust safety culture. Expect a mix of trip lengths, extended time away from home on occasion, and the opportunity to build lasting rapport with discerning passengers and aircraft owners.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Ensure safety is never compromised; collaborate closely with the Safety Manager and adhere to company SMS practices.
- Operate the CE-500 as Pilot in Command on charter flights in full compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
- Greet passengers and owners with a warm, professional demeanor; cultivate ongoing rapport and trust.
- Inspect aircraft for cleanliness, presentation, and readiness prior to customer arrival; coordinate any needed upkeep.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with Flight Operations in person, by phone, and by email.
- Capture and relay customer preferences to Flight Operations to deliver a personalized experience on every trip.
🌟 What you bring
- Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
- Previous Part 135 charter experience preferred.
- ATP certificate preferred.
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Proficient knowledge of 14 CFR and FAA regulations; meets 14 CFR Part 135.243(a)(1) & (c) requirements.
- Eligible for entry into Canada via CANPASS.
- Acceptable driving record; able to pass a background check.
- Full compliance with a zero-tolerance, drug-free policy.
- Reside within approximately 45 minutes of the base airport (Houston, TX).
- Scheduling flexibility and the ability to accommodate extended trips away from home.
- Strong customer service orientation and polished professional presence.
