Bering Air is hiring experienced Captains to operate the Cessna 408 SkyCourier on scheduled routes serving western Alaska’s remote, roadless communities. Since 1979, we’ve delivered essential air service—connecting people, mail, and freight—safely and reliably across the Last Frontier.

🧭 What you’ll do

• Captain the Cessna 408 SkyCourier on scheduled passenger, mail, and freight flights across western Alaska.
• Ensure safe operations in remote and austere environments, adhering to all company and regulatory standards.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight planning, inspections, and safety checks.
• Exercise sound judgment in weather and terrain decision-making throughout roadless regions.
• Collaborate with dispatch, maintenance, and station teams to keep missions on-time and customer-focused.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

• 2000+ hours total flight time.
• Valid CPL or ATP.
• Valid medical certificate.
• 500 hours or one season of Alaska flying/living experience.
• Non-smoker preferred.
• Experience on one or more of the following: C208, C212, C408, B190, or BE20.

🌟 Preferred

• 3000+ hours total time.
• ATP certification.
• Proven Alaska regional flying experience.
