🧭 The Role at a Glance

  • Operator: MEHAIR
  • Location: Multiple bases across India
  • Aircraft: Cessna 208B Grand Caravan — Wheels & Amphibian Floats
  • Position: Captain / Check Pilot (Type Rating Instructor)
  • Operations: Seaplane routes and land-based missions
  • License: Valid DGCA CPL or higher (Indian or foreign holders welcome)
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Mobility: Willing to operate from multiple locations pan-India

🧰 What You’ll Do

  • Conduct check and proficiency flights for Cessna 208 pilots in accordance with DGCA standards.
  • Deliver type rating instruction on the Cessna 208 for both wheel and amphibian float operations.
  • Operate the Cessna 208 as PIC on scheduled and charter seaplane routes.
  • Ensure rigorous compliance with company SOPs, regulatory requirements, and safety procedures.
  • Support pilot training, mentoring, and certification programs to elevate operational excellence.

🌟 What You’ll Bring

  • Valid DGCA CPL or higher (Indian or foreign licence holders).
  • Proven PIC experience on the Cessna 208.
  • Current Type Rating Instructor / Check Pilot qualification on Cessna 208 (Wheels & Amphibian Floats).
  • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • RTR and FRTOL, where applicable.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple locations in India and thrive in a close-knit, mission-driven team.
