Cessna 208 Caravan Line Pilot – Wellington or Blenheim

✈️ The opportunity

Sounds Air is accepting applications for C208 Line Pilots to operate scheduled regional passenger services. You’ll fly single-pilot across diverse terrain and weather, delivering a safe, reliable and personable service that reflects the airline’s G.U.E.S.T principles.

🧰 Minimum requirements

• Total time: 1,200 hours
• Instrument time: 75 hours
• Night time: 50 hours
• Applicants up to 15 hours short of the instrument/night minimums may be considered; these can normally be gained during line training.
• Willingness to be based in Wellington or Blenheim, New Zealand.

🧭 What you’ll do

• Operate the Cessna 208 Caravan single-pilot under both VFR and IFR.
• Fly scheduled regional services across Cook Strait and the wider Sounds Air network.
• Complete thorough line training (typically 50–80 hours) leading to a single-pilot check-to-line.
• Uphold exceptional customer service aligned with Sounds Air’s G.U.E.S.T principles.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and airmanship.
