Cessna Caravan Captain (C208) — Alaska Bush Operations

✈️ Cessna Caravan Captain (C208) — Alaska Bush Operations

Step into command where flying still feels essential. As a Caravan Captain, you’ll connect remote Alaska communities, move critical cargo, and operate with purpose across big country and tough weather. Bring sound judgment, self-reliance, and a safety-first mindset. No C208 type rating? Qualified pilots receive full training.

🧭 The Mission

Fly the Cessna 208 in true bush conditions—short and unimproved airstrips, rapidly changing weather, and rugged terrain. You’ll plan precisely, manage risk thoughtfully, and execute professionally while delivering people, supplies, and vital services that keep Alaska moving.

🧰 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Pilot in Command of the C208 across remote and regional routes, exercising disciplined decision-making and strong airmanship.
  • Own each leg end-to-end: thorough preflight planning, weather and performance analysis, risk assessment, and clear post-flight debriefs.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with dispatch, ground crews, and customers to keep operations safe, on time, and efficient.
  • Care for the aircraft: rigorous checklist use, clean ramps, and professional handling in all conditions.
  • Model a safety culture founded on integrity, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

🌟 What You Bring

  • Calm, confident command presence with excellent stick-and-rudder skills.
  • Proven judgment in dynamic, remote environments and a cool head under pressure.
