Seven Hills Skydivers is looking for safety-focused, cool-under-pressure pilots to fly our Cessna 182, taking skydivers to altitude and bringing the airplane—and everyone on board—safely back to the ground. If you’re building time and love crisp, purposeful flying, this per-load role is a fantastic way to sharpen your skills while supporting an energetic drop zone community.
✈️ About the role
You’ll operate our C182 for skydiving flights, climbing efficiently to jump run altitude and returning promptly for quick turnarounds. Expect a fast-paced environment on mostly fair-weather days with a strong emphasis on professionalism, safe airmanship, and smooth coordination with manifest and jump staff.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Conduct thorough preflight inspections and performance planning for each sortie.
- Coordinate with manifest and jump leaders for timing, loads, and jump run profiles.
- Manage weight and balance and fuel planning appropriate to short-cycle ops.
- Climb, position, and fly stable jump runs; descend and recover the aircraft efficiently.
- Maintain clear radio communication and situational awareness in busy airspace.
- Keep the cockpit and aircraft organized and mission-ready between turns.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- FAA Commercial flight rating (CPL) required.
- Minimum 200 hours PIC.
- C-182 time strongly preferred.
- Calm, safety-first judgment and a team mindset in a high-tempo environment.

🗓 Schedule & availability
- Most weekends from 9:00 to sunset.
- Some weekday evenings from 15:00 to sunset.
- Flexibility to support weather-dependent operations.
