✈️ The Role

As a Type Rated Captain on the Cessna 208B Caravan, you will command scheduled flights across eastern India, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations under IndiaOne Air’s DGCA-approved procedures. You will lead the cockpit, deliver excellent operational decision-making, and represent the airline with professionalism at all times.

🧭 Key Responsibilities

  • Exercise command of Caravan operations in accordance with company SOPs and DGCA regulations.
  • Conduct thorough preflight planning, including weather, NOTAMs, performance, fuel, and payload considerations.
  • Operate safely in both IFR and VFR environments, maintaining the highest standards of airmanship.
  • Lead and mentor crew, ensuring effective CRM and clear communication.
  • Manage normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures with sound judgment and calm execution.
  • Complete accurate flight documentation, reports, and logbook entries.
  • Uphold a strong safety culture and contribute to continuous operational improvement.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

  • License: Valid Indian DGCA ATPL
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Total Time: 1,500 hours
  • Pilot-in-Command: 500 hours PIC
  • On Type: 100 hours on Cessna 208B Caravan, including 100 hours PIC
  • Instrument Experience: 100 hours PIC IFR
  • Type Rating: Current and valid on Cessna 208B Caravan
  • Language: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
  • Work Rights: Must have the right to work in India (visa sponsorship is not provided)
