✈️ The Role
As a Type Rated Captain on the Cessna 208B Caravan, you will command scheduled flights across eastern India, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations under IndiaOne Air’s DGCA-approved procedures. You will lead the cockpit, deliver excellent operational decision-making, and represent the airline with professionalism at all times.
🧭 Key Responsibilities
- Exercise command of Caravan operations in accordance with company SOPs and DGCA regulations.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, including weather, NOTAMs, performance, fuel, and payload considerations.
- Operate safely in both IFR and VFR environments, maintaining the highest standards of airmanship.
- Lead and mentor crew, ensuring effective CRM and clear communication.
- Manage normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures with sound judgment and calm execution.
- Complete accurate flight documentation, reports, and logbook entries.
- Uphold a strong safety culture and contribute to continuous operational improvement.
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- License: Valid Indian DGCA ATPL
- Medical: Class 1
- Total Time: 1,500 hours
- Pilot-in-Command: 500 hours PIC
- On Type: 100 hours on Cessna 208B Caravan, including 100 hours PIC
- Instrument Experience: 100 hours PIC IFR
- Type Rating: Current and valid on Cessna 208B Caravan
- Language: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
- Work Rights: Must have the right to work in India (visa sponsorship is not provided)
